SERIPEN
The historical memory of the Roma people through their food traditions.
Rromnjako SERIPEN aims to recover the historical memory of the Roma people through their food traditions. Our research seeks to build knowledge and recognition of the Roma people by highlighting the contribution of Roma culture to Catalan society through food and the first-hand accounts of Roma women living in Barcelona’s Vila de Gràcia neighbourhood. The project is a collaboration with Càmeres en Acció, supported by the Gràcia district and Barcelona City Council.
